We have worked through and cleared the back-log of slow mail and outgoing email should be flowing normally now.
However you may experience some email ‘bounce-backs’ as some of our outgoing mail is still being detected as spam which was caused by the high levels of spam going through our server in the last couple of days.
The mail going through our server should be trusted as legitimate mail within the next 24 to 48 hours as the servers around the world which are receiving mail from our clients re-align their trusted email settings.

We are currently experiencing email delays which we are dealing with as a priority. We were hit by high levels of spam which have caused a this delay. Our server is working through and deleting the suspect mail and we envisage mail to be back to normal tomorrow morning.

The manufacture of stainless steel bar products along with other stainless steel mass produced products such as stainless steel flats, sheet and wire are produced within a blast furnace. Within the furnace, carbon electrodes are aligned to make contact with varying amounts nickel, nitrogen and molybdenum at a very high temperature.
Once the steel making furnace reaches the optimum melting point the different metal alloys in the mix fuse to create one metal alloy. Then the alloy is fed into an argon vessel where de-carbonization takes place, once within the vessel, forging or casting can begin. This is when different shapes and forms are created for a variety of market sectors. Shapes such as round, flats, bar, sheet and steel wire are easy mass produced using this technique and as its very malleable, it can then be moulded into a variety of shapes including stainless steel bar.

The composition of stainless steel bar is a blend of alloys of several metals with at least 10% chromium. Chromium has a high polish, high melting point and is known as a hard metal which is also odourless, tasteless and is easily manipulated into other shapes or forms making stainless steel bar easy to re-form into different bar products.
Stainless steel bar is stainless because of Its chromium content as the chromium oxide forms a thin layer on the ’skin’ of the steel which is un-detectable by the naked eye. This thin layer of chromium self heals when scratched and is flexible if the stainless steel is stretched. The re-healing properties of chromium are only active when in contact with oxygen gas, so if stainless steel bar products are in use in a non-oxygenated environment such as a marine environment then corrosion may occur more easily.
Other alloys which make up stainless steel bar are metals such as varying amounts of nickel, nitrogen and molybdenum, which affect its durability.

Basically stainless steel bar is steel which is alloyed or blended with non-corrosive or low corrosive metals and then mass produced in refineries in bars which are then cut to order for a range of manufacturing and industrial applications. These steel bars are called lengths of bar which are easy to transport on flat-bed lorries for easy distribution. Stainless steel bar can alternatively be forged into custom lengths for special fabrications.

These types range from polished, reflective finish as used by stainless steel kitchen utensil producers. Stainless steel bar can be finished with many different surface textures and qualities; such as coarse, brushed, matte and even a mirrored finish can be achieved.
